We are delighted to be able to announce exciting news about the future of CAPA College capacollege.co.uk
The Katie Philpott School of Dance was established in 2000 by its namesake
to celebrate and share her passion for dance.
Throughout 2017, we have been supporting UK charity Rays of Sunshine which grants wishes for children suffering from life-changing illness. Via performances, workshops, bespoke hair bows, a grand raffle, pre-owned uniform sale, disco and a JustPlay Photography photo-shoot, we raised a grand total of £1,150.00 thanks to the hard work of our KPSD team and the generosity of our KPSD students and their families. Thank you to everyone involved!!
Jane Sharpe, CEO of Rays of Sunshine, said: "We're so grateful to everyone at the Katie Philpott School of Dance for all their hard work and commitment to fundraising for Rays of Sunshine. The money raised will help us to continue to grant magical wishes for brave and deserving children living with life-limiting illnesses, for which we can't be more thankful."
Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity brightens up the lives of seriously ill children in the UK aged three to 18 years old by granting wishes, granting hospital ward wishes and organising outings and large scale events for seriously ill children, including the Rays of Sunshine Concert where last year our own KPSD dancer Niamh Biltcliffe performed on stage at Wembley with Nicole Scherzinger!!
Katie Philpott School of Dance is one of the area’s leading dance academies, offering multi-genre dance and musical theatre to more than 340 pupils with ages ranging from three to 63.
