The Katie Philpott School of Dance

The Story so far...

The Katie Philpott School of Dance was established in 2000 by its namesake
to celebrate and share her passion for dance and now provides classes in Mirfield for more than 350 students.

KPSD NEWS - New show plans

KPSD Choreographic Cup & Freestyle Show at the Lawrence Batley Theatre: 14th November 2021

Main KPSD show: "Title - TBC" at the Lawrence Batley Theatre 12th & 13th March 2022

The LBT has announced they are closing next summer for major redevelopments and sadly cancelled our dates for Sea Cruise Boogie.

However, after much deliberation, we have taken the decision that this show is so wonderful we don't want to leave it docked in the harbour!

So, we will re-launch a re-vamped version of the show - title TBC next year - to enable us to use all the fabulous choreography and costumes that were ready for action in March when Covid-19 sank our 2020 plans.

KPSD has never experienced a year like this and the goodwill, patience and support of our students and their families has genuinely kept us all going throughout the year.

We look forward to seeing you all in the studio in December and hope you are enjoying the live Zoom timetable with all your teachers!
