MODERN THEATRE
The
Modern Theatre Dance syllabus has been inspired and influenced
by the great choreographers of the stage and screen.
The clearly defined structure of the grades ensure the pupil develops
the physical ability to communicate through movement in an expressive
and artistic way, at the same time building a sound technique in modern
dance.
It is also easy to transfer to other dance forms as the pupil learns
common skills such as running, use of arms, posture, timing and rhythmic
awareness.
A basic understanding of modern theatre dance gives a broad base of dancing
skills.
