IMPERIAL BALLET
 Every
little girl dreams, at one time or another, of being a ballerina.
ISTD Imperial Ballet offers a classical syllabus
providing
a sound foundation in developing technique, expression, correct
posture and graceful movement.
It is the foundation of all dance
styles as it gives the dancer strength and agility.
Ballet can
be enjoyed for pure pleasure or for the more serious minded and
examinations are optional.
The objectives of the Imperial Classical Ballet Graded Examinations
syllabi are to:
* Educate by providing a progressive awareness of the culture and technique of
Classical Ballet through a graded programme of training and assessment
* To provide a form of physical training that is safe and the development of
artistic and musical appreciation
